Ok, so here I am again, not updating my blog. I'm REALLY sorry!!! I guess the upside is that I don't think many people are reading it, so I'm not really disappointing anyone but myself. Anyway, I'll try to get caught up!
Eddie now has 8 teeth and he's already cutting his 1-year molars. The other teeth coming in weren't *too* bad, but the molars are TERRIBLE! The poor little guy tugs and bats at his ears constantly. I thought he had an ear infection 2 weeks ago, but when we went to the pediatrician, we were told that his bottom right molar was trying to break through. Dr. Laycob said his gums were swollen and purple!
I am headed down to Birmingham tomorrow for a 10-day visit with my family. The Alabama Symphony has hired me out to play Ein Heldenleiben with them, so I'm super-excited that I get paid to go visit my friends and family! My family hasn't seen little Eddie since August, so things are really going to be different!
Eddie started crawling on Aug. 27, which was my 30th birthday! What a great present for me! I thought he would "army crawl" but he just flopped over and started crawling normally across the room. I grabbed the video camera and fortunately, I got some of it on tape! He then started pulling up on furniture 3 days later!! Ever since then, he has been into everything! He is now close to walking on his own, but I don't think we'll make it by his first birthday. Only time will tell!
Eddie is now enrolled in Kindermusik, PDO at our church, and Gymboree. He LOVES Gymboree class, so we go twice a week to the extra "open play" times and he has a blast. We have made lots of friends and are getting out of the house quite a bit these days.
Eddie had the stomach flu last night. :( This was his first time to be physically ill since he's arrived, and it was just awful. The poor guy threw up three times (twice on my while I was rocking him) last night. He seems to be doing better today, but he literally looked green last night. Hopefully he'll recover here within the next 24 hours and our trip down to Birmingham will go smoothly.
On a side note, trying for baby #2 is proving to be just as difficult as trying for baby #1. I have now been pregnant 3 times since little Eddie was born, but I continue to have miscarriages. Hopefully we'll have a healthy (and sticky) bean soon!
As always, I will try to update more regularly. I really do enjoy blogging.....It's a nice release for me!

Jen!!
Glad you got a chance to update. It's 'Cara' from the old clomid board on Babycenter! I check back often for updates and know how busy you must be! Eddie sounds soooo adorable and so big... hoping you get a chance to upload some pictures of him when you get a moment!!! Sorry TTC #2 is also as hard as TTC #1, but hang in there, it will happen. I'm currently 16w3d pregnant with #1 after IVF #1! I'm excited and also nervous...but less nervous and more excited! Looking forward to your next update!! Take care!!!
