Little Eddie laughed for the first time on April 21. He sort of laughed for his daddy the day before, but he REALLY laughed the next day. I was playing peek-a-boo with him and he thought it was hysterical. I quickly grabbed the camcorder, so I was able to get it on tape. Big Eddie was out of town, so I immediately called my parents and let them hear it. I then called my grandmother and left a message for her (with baby Eddie laughing in the background). Unfortunately, he got tired pretty quickly, but it was SO much fun while it lasted. His little laugh is the most beautiful sound in the world!
And to top it all off, he slept ALL THE WAY through the night last night. I put him down at 7:30 and he didn't wake up until 6:45 this morning! I am SO proud of him!! I was really getting frustrated because he's 4 1/2 months old and he wasn't laughing, rolling over, or sleeping through the night....And now it's like he's figuring everything out all at once! The night sleep was great, but it's really messed him up today with his napping schedule, but that's ok with me! I'll take a bad day and sleeping through the night over a good day and not sleeping through the night ANY TIME!!
That's the update for now. Hopefully, there will be more milestones to post about soon!
