Hello again!

Once again, I have taken time away from blogging. I had been meaning to start it back up again, but I was afaid that comments I would make would unintentionally upset people, like it did the last time I blogged. Well, to hell with what other people think. I really like blogging and I got the feeling that other people liked reading my blog, so I'm going to start it back up again. I probably won't go into the TTC details like I did last time, but I'll keep you all posted if/when I do get pregnant. Let's just say for now, that a little TTC break has been GREAT!

On a positive note, one of my best friends was induced yesteray and delivered a healthy baby girl. I'm so excited for her. This is her second child and I just know that she is on Cloud 9 right now! I'll be going up to the hospital this afternoon to visit them. In fact, almost all of my friends here in St. Louis are due to have baby #2 or #3 within the next few months. It's really going to be an exciting time.

Work is going well. I'm still at Neiman Marcus and I really do like my job.....on most days. Other than that, not too much has changed. I'm still chugging along over here in St. Louis and wishing all of my online friends the best in their TTC efforts! :)

I'm baaaaaaack!

Ok, so I took a couple of weeks off from blogging. I was going to stop blogging all together, but I really find it to be very therapeutic, so I'm back at it!

A LOT has gone on in the past few weeks. Eddie and I have decided not to try IVF again. We're not doing it again because of monetary reasons, rather we don't want to go through the whole process again and not be guaranteed a child. Instead, we're looking into international adoption. We're not going to move forward with anything until after the new year, but we're getting in lots of reading and research. Right now, we are focusing on Eastern European countries, such as Russia, Ukraine, Republic of Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Lithuania. There are many pros and cons to each country, so we're trying to determine our best option. My hope is that we'll have decided on a country by the end of this year and then we can move forward with the home study and other necessary steps to bring home our child!

We haven't decided if we're going to use an agency or a facilitator. Again, there are pros and cons with both. I have spoken with several different agencies and a wonderful couple who runs a charity called "Promise the Children." Their website is:

Eddie and I are going to have dinner with the founders within the next month and we're really looking forward to it!

I have also gotten a job! Woo-hoo!! I had always planned on working if the IVF didn't work out for us, so as soon as I got back from our vacation, I applied to several stores and I just found out on Monday that Neiman Marcus is going to hire me! I had my drug test yesterday and I start my training on Saturday. Hopefully, I'll get a good discount! ;) I'll be working in the Children's Department....How ironic is THAT?!?!?!?

Well, that's the update on me in a nutshell. I'll continue blogging on a more regular basis, because it's GREAT to be back!
